Students in the UK receive their GCSE results today. Now, it’s 6.26am and I haven’t seen any reports of results but here are my predictions: increases in the number of students receiving five or more ‘good’ passes and a decrease in the number of students leaving without any qualifications. This will then be said to be a good thing by the government and evidence of ‘grade inflation’ by everyone else…
