BBC News reports that one in five GCSEs was awarded an A* or A whilst the EducationGuardian reports that alarming numbers of students are dropping languages at GCSE level. The Independent mentions that less than 2% got no GCSEs, whilst the TES reports the ‘continuing complaints about the quality of the exam.’
