I promised that as I’ve now ended the EduPress project I’d keep readers up-to-date with the plugins I’m using on this site. Some of them may be useful for your Wordpress blog, hopefully! In the last couple of days I’ve installed Custom Query String (which allows me to show one post on the front page and more in search results), Search Meter (tracks what people are searching for), Random Posts (obvious!) and Wordpress Reports (gives stats based on data from Feedburner and Google Analytics). I experimented with K2 Date Stamp which looks good on other blogs, but not really on this one…

Thanks Doug. I’m going off K2. Georgeous beast that it is, and as much as I respect it’s creators, i’ve found it to be too resource hungry/ slow loading on a couple of my sites. I think we need the functionality possibly without the wizz.
