More UK teachers taking early retirement

BBC News reports that around 50% more teachers are retiring early. Whilst I don’t want to generalise too much - and there are many excellent older teachers - I can’t help but thinking that this is a good thing. The world is changing beyond all recognition and sometimes it’s revolution, not evolution, that’s needed… :p

    I hear what you're saying about older teachers,  but I know many young teachers who are old, too. I think the revolution can and is being be led by people of all ages.
