xFruits - do lots of stuff with RSS feeds

WARNING! This website is no longer actively maintained. It is an archive of 2 years work by Doug Belshaw who now blogs at dougbelshaw.com...

This is one for those wanting to spread the message about RSS feeds or put out a newsletter with good reading material. I’ve discussed xFruits over at EdTechRoundup.com. Go and have a look! :)

Discovered xFruits yesterday… from something on my feed list… wish I remembered what… anyway, what an awesome tool… a couple of months ago, some teacher was looking for a way to have students' blogs feeds all converge to one place… wish I could have told him about xFruits… and wish I now remembered who it was… it's the answer… and it's the bomb…

I find dabbleDb.com (online db, now with free accounts for those willing to make their data public) is a neat way of generating RSS feeds. And then, of course, there's Yahoo! Pipes and its ilk for mixing them.
