Many thanks to Justin Medved for the heads-up on Animoto. Created by TV and film producers, it allows you to specify images and music, then it creates an automatic slideshow - with great results. Check out the one Justin created about his school’s new library. This could be amazingly useful for grabbing students’ interest when presenting/introducing new topics! ![]()

You might also want to check out a similar web application called Fliptrack, which, for now, is even more accessible to students, especially English Languag Learners:

Thanks for the link to Fliptrack Larry. The more we can get students to present their work easily and effectively the more we can focus on the content and hte learning.
There’s a similar tool available in LeMill (although not as snazzy as Animoto). And instead of music, its designed to use voiceover audio clips. Here’s an example (sorry, example in Finnish, but you get the idea): http://lemill.net/content/kosteikko-maan-ja-veden-valissa
Thanks Tarmo, I’ll take a look.
