Getting students involved in projects with real-world outcomes
2 CommentsI love finding out when teachers and students come up with projects that have really positive effects on their communities – local or global. Kristian Still (he of the excellent wiki but no blog) informed me of his students’ Panini Project, which certainly fits into the aforementioned category. Inspired by a BBC News report, their aim is to collect a full set of football shirts for every Premiership team. Donations of shirts can be made directly to Tauntons College in Southampton and the full sets will be donated to Third World football teams. Get giving! :D
